SENATOR Chris Ngige, the candidate of All Progressives
Congress, APC, in last year’s governorship election in Anambra State,
yesterday, brought to the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, sitting in
Awka, 40 sacks, popularly known as ‘Ghana must go,’ containing his evidence.
Ngige petitioned the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, in Anambra State for declaring Chief Willie Obiano of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, winner of the election.
Contained in the sacks were voters’ register, ballot papers,
oath of neutrality and list of adhoc staff used during the election - VANGUARD
